We rehearse on Sunday afternoons and sometimes mid-week evenings too when we are getting close to a show. We do have a waiting list and anyone from the age of 9-18 can apply to be a member. There are no auditions to join the club and it’s open to anyone; we expect parents/guardians to join the rota to help out on Sundays and during show week.

We value your privacy. Your information will be stored by the Congleton Amateur Youth Theatre (CAYT) committee and individuals working on theatre productions if required (for example, by a director to invite your child to an audition), and used to correspond with you about your child’s membership of the club and about upcoming shows. By completing this form you are giving permission for your information to be used for this purpose. CAYT will store your data for as long as you are on the waiting list or a member of the club.
If you wish to withdraw your application to join the club or your permission for this data storage, please email congletonamateuryouththeatre@gmail.com or call one of the numbers on this website. Parents or guardians are expected to take part in the helper’s rota as a condition of their child joining CAYT.
While signing up you can “opt-in” to receive marketing emails about shows that you/your child is not involved in. Families on the waiting list usually enjoy coming to our shows and getting a taste of what their child will be part of. You can opt out of this at any time by emailing congletonamateuryouththeatre@gmail.com. NOTE: you will still receive information about the show(s) your child in involved with, as this is a condition of club membership.
